2017 Goal: Build-up Friendships

Can it be as easy as asking someone,"Do you want to be friends?"

In the world of technology today where we use our social media to keep connected, we stop taking out the time to just sit down with each other face to face. We are more concerned about how many likes we have and how we look for other people. We are looking more for the attention than the connection. Spending quality time together and spending time with a friend can leave you feeling renewed and refreshed.

A great friendship is based on trust. It is built on listening to each other and helping each other grow. To have someone to care for you and support you in your time of need. Having a friend that respects you and your feelings, but always willing to tell you the truth.  A true friendship is unconditional. It doesn't change based on physical appearances, financial circumstances or even distance.

A lot of the time we don't make time for one another. We'll say, "We are too busy!" or "I don't have the time.", but at the same time, we make sure that we set aside time to watch our favorite tv show. With being so busy we do have to schedule time with each other. Take the time while you can. Don't wait until its too late and your friend is no longer around.

Our greatest friendship is with God and He is there for us 24/7. Our phone call is an easy prayer said. Our conversations with God come from the heart. He is there like a best friend ready to listen and not ready to judge. We can tell him all the works of the flesh (Galatians 5:19) God will listen to all of it. He will help us grow like a best friend does by building up in us the fruits of the Spirit. He builds us in Love, Joy, Peace, Longsuffering, Kindness, Goodness, Faithfulness, Gentleness and Self -Control. All of us already have a best friend in God. He is always with us, we should never feel lonely. We always have someone to talk to. He has given us a King Yeshua (Jesus) our savior for us to represent every day. With him as our friend all things are possible.

May God YHVH Bless your coming days!
