Dear Beloved, Hearers and Doers,
This is the Second to the Seven Approaches of Healing, The Seasons of Age. The first season is Spring including the ages 0-14. During this first season of growth in our life we learn trust and mistrust. When to take initiative and the feeling of guilt. During this time we start to apply our work ethic.
In the second season is Summer including the ages of 15-24. We began to explore our identity. To look at our social roles. At this season there is concern about the future. Thinking about college/university or if we choose to learn on the job. If we stay home or move away. We begin to explore our freedom.
In the third season is Fall including ages 25-64. In this season we explore if we can truly love. Learn how to resolve conflicts. Will we have intimacy or choose isolation. In picking isolation and lack of activity, there is lack of growth in development. Looking at what we want to commit to. At points in this season the question of, "is this the road that will take us where we need to go? " How have and how are we giving back to the community? How are we contributing to society as a whole.
In the fourth season is Winter including 65 & Beyond. In this season we review and reflect and question our life. How have we done? At this time the focus is how being older will look like and feel like. The relationship with our own body. The relationships that we have or have passed on. The legacy that we leave behind us. How have we been on our road of maturity. Have we healed in our Mind, our Spirit and our Soul.
In the seasons of our life, we have a time of reflection to pause look back and keep marching forward. If we take too long to reflect we are just marching in place. Everything is one step at a time. In walking up those steps we learn to endure. To use our strength. If we can't see one of those steps, the reliance is obeying in faith. That is when we see our confidence in understanding and full potential.
Let love overflow in every cell of your body!
Daniel 2: 21-22 ~ And He changeth the times and the seasons: He removeth kings, and setteth up kings: He giveth wisdom unto the wise, and knowledge to them that know understanding: He reveals deep and hidden things; He knows what lies in darkness, and light dwells with Him.
