When you read Proverbs Chapter 31, this is a mother instructing her son of what a Godly woman is. How important it is to find this type of woman and that she shares the same belief as him. A woman who knows her value and doesn't stray from it. The mother is making a point of how important it is to find a woman that reflects him. A husband and wife reflect each other. They share the same faith and morals, staying true to their values. They have the same love for YAH. They both walk in the way of YAH and it shows when you look at them. The "gates" were the most public areas, the going "ins and outs", also the business center. When the wife is respected in the gates, so is the husband. The elders respect their character and the way they conduct themselves. When they are seen in public not only do they reflect each other, but most importantly they reflect YAH.
