Our Allowance and Being Content

Hello Hearers and Doers,

We are going to be discussing the allowance of time and money, with being content.

First, let's look at the definition of allowance:

al·low·ance
/əˈlouəns/ - noun - the amount of something that is permitted, especially within a set of regulations or for a specified purpose.

When people think about allowance they usually think about the money that they were given when they were a child. Some kids are given an allowance for completing chores or on a weekly or monthly basis. When we grow up our allowance is measured by the work we put in; by the job we have and what we are paid.

It depends on how we are spending that money. After taking care of the responsibilities of rent, bills, food and are we investing in the future of our family? The kid's college or dreams? A house? The ministry you are called to do to help others?

Time is another allowance. We all have 24 hours in a day. We can never get back the same day or moment, time is always moving forward. It is important that we stay present, have a schedule to stay productive and focused. Writing down how much time you are spending watching TV, on social media, or other media-related time consumers will let you see how your time is spent. The question to ask yourself is it serving you by growing and enriching you? How is it feeding your Spirit, how are you feeling after your exposure? Or is it numbing you even more?

People are another allowance. With such busy lives, we have to recognize the value of people and their time. People are priceless!

Our true treasure is YAH and Yahshua in our hearts. Knowing your value and other people's value, you will come to appreciate everyone around you even more. Every new day is another day to fall in love all over again with each other.

YAH has given us all such a great allowance through Yahshua of life. We have so much to be thankful and grateful for, but people are still not content. They want more and more and they think they can have better or the grass is greener somewhere else. People put their own stumbling block between their relationship of YAH & Yahshua by putting a value on money and other things.

Are times any different then the times of Moses, has anyone noticed the bronze "golden" calf in New York City in the United States?  It was like when Moses was getting the 10 commandments to live a wonderful peaceful content life. But people were at the bottom of the hill worshipping the golden calf.

Are you wanting life on the mountain with Moses or you at the bottom of the hill still worshipping the golden calf?  Please be content! Please focus on want is important and that is the Loving relationship through YAH and Yahshua to know what life is.

Be satisfied with the allowances YAH has provided!

Overall, YAH has provided Grace and Salvation through His Son, Yahshua.

Matthew 6:33 ~ But seek ye first the kingdom of YAH, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.

2 Kings 10:29 Howbeit from the sins of Jeroboam the son of Nebat, who made Israel to sin, Jehu departed not from after them, to wit, the golden calves that were in Bethel, and that were in Dan.

1 Timothy 6: 7-10 ~ For we have brought nothing into this world, and it is certain we carry nothing out. 8 And having food and raiment let us be therewith content. 9 But they that will be rich fall into temptation and a snare, and into many foolish and hurtful lust, which drown men in destruction and perdition. 10 For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows.

Proverbs 28:6 ~ Better is the poor that walketh in his uprightness, than he that is perverse in his ways, though he be rich.

Proverbs 21:26 ~ He coveteth greedily all the day long: but the righteous giveth and spareth not.

Hebrews 13:5 ~ Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.

Hebrews 13:15 ~ By him therefore let us offer the sacrifice of praise to YAH continually, that is, the fruit of our lips giving thanks to his name.

Colossians 3 1-3 ~ If ye then be risen with Yahshua, seek those things which are above, where Yahshua sitteth on the right hand of YAH. 2 Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth. 3 For ye are dead, and your life is hid with Yahshua in YAH.
