Pinterest is great for learning, but you can loose a lot of time. It is not a site that you can multitask with; it consumes you. Just yesterday I was pinning and I got distracted and lost a good two hours. It is good to set times for you to be on Pinterest, because you can loose a whole day.
I first learned about Pinterest after seeing a news story on the local news. The story was talking about ideas on party entertaining. I was so wowed because I love everything about party entertaining. That night I went home and spent about two hours being amazed. I wanted to learn everything I could about this social media board.
Pinterest officially openly launched March 2010. I found it in early 2012. It is mobile with a Pinterest app for iPhone and Android. I was so serious about this site and wanted to be apart of it, that I signed up for their seminar. I watched their easy how to seminar and it was very helpful. The site is made up of virtual boards that you can organize your favorite interest. There are a lot of good ideas and inspiration. You can follow other people's boards and they can follow yours. Its a great way to connect with others that have the same interest as you. Happy pinning!
